I am so glad you've found your way here. This website is a tribute to author and acclaimed journalist and historian, Richard Vasquez: his life, career and works.
My name is Sylvia Vasquez; I am Richard's daughter. As my father's heir, I have strived to keep his works and his name alive in the literary world. I believe he was a pioneer in the Latino literature, as he made it his life work to write about Mexican-American issues and social justice.
Please feel free to take a look around the website. This is a fairly new website as of January 2008, and it is a work in progress. I hope to post some articles and stories written by Richard Vasquez soon.
